Spanish Exchange Program

Spanish Exchange Informational Meeting – April 29, at 6:00pm in the Cafe.

Starting in 2013, Burlington High School participated in it’s first student Exchange Program with Collado Villalba High School in the province of Madrid, Spain.  19 students, accompanied by BHS Spanish teachers Profe De Sousa and Señora Sullivan, traveled to Spain in February and lived with a host family for two weeks.  Students attended school, participated in cultural activities and excursions to nearby cities, including Toledo and Madrid, while enhancing their Spanish language skills and cultural knowledge.  In April, students from Collado Villalba High School visited BHS for two weeks and stay in a BHS family’s home.
